Partychapp not responding to messages

Partychapp appears online, but is not responding to messages. We're not sure why, but we're assuming it's an issue with AppEngine. Will investigate

Update: Back to normal - issues were due to http://code.google.com/status/appengine

  1. Though this comment is not relevant with the above post I'm posting it here coz I didn't find other ways.

I'm having a peculiar problem with partychat. I added partychat in my Google Talk. But it doesn't accept my invitation. It always shows invited status it's why it does receive commands from me!

How can I fix this problem. I appreciate your help.

  2. Atique: which address did you invite? and are you using chat in GMail or in a different client?

  4. partychat@gmail is no longer maintained. Try joining a room via http://partychapp.appspot.com/

  5. I went to the url you just gave me: http://partychapp.appspot.com/

It takes me to google account sign in page. After I sign it takes me to the following url: http://partychapp.appspot.com/index.jsp which says,

    "Error: Server Error

The server encountered an error and could not complete your request.
If the problem persists, please report your problem and mention this error message and the query that caused it."

  7. raunak and Atique,

I've filed that error as a bug report:

    http://code.google.com/p/partychapp/issues/detail?id=51

In the meantime, you can join/create a room from Google Talk/Gmail first (by inviting a contact, as the signed out version of the page describes), and only then signing into the web page.
